St. Meinhard statue

Celebrating and respecting the memory of the first bishop of Latvia Saint Meinhard, on 24 September 2010 by the motorway Rīga – Daugavpils, a monument for St. Meinhard was erected. Its height is 5.72 metres. The monument was erected by the initiative of the dean of the Roman Catholic parish Konstantīns Bojārs. Sculptor Viktors Šuškēvičs, supporter Juris Savickis.
